Xiaomi Mi 7 Will Support Wireless Charging – Document Reveals on WeChat

In this year’s Qualcomm conference, Xiaomi CEO ‘Lei Jun’ attended the conference. In a private interview, he told the media that Xiaomi Mi 7 would be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. However, today, another feature of Xiaomi Mi 7 just got exposed in a document at WeChat.

Getting in details, according to Xiaomi foundry ‘Shanghai Dragon flag Technology Co., Ltd’, on official WeChat public number revealed:

Xiaomi Mi 7 will support wireless charging. It will be using the program of the United States IDT. The support of wireless charging module is already in mass production and will release before the Spring Festival 2018.

Xiaomi Mi 7 Rumors – What To Expect?

Apart from the SoC, Mi 7 will introduce the dual screen layout as well. We will have 5.65-inch standard and 6.01-inch Plus version. Both versions will support the trending 18: 9 full-screen design.The battery capacity of the standard version will be 3200mAh. Meanwhile, Mi 7 Plus will integrate a 3500mAh. The metal + glass frame will continue. SD 845 will be accompanied by 6GB RAM.

On the rear, we will see a 12 MP + 20 MP dual camera combination (IMX380 + IMX350 sensor). Because of the AI SoC, we might experience AI technology camera features as well. Moreover, Xiaomi Mi 7 might even use the upcoming on-screen fingerprint reader.

Xiaomi Mi 7 release date will be in-between March and April. The rumored price tag is:

• Standard Version around 2699 yuan ($415)
• Plus version or High Version around 2999 yuan ($461)
