Today, AGM X2 hit China with three variants. The official said that the X2 flagship passes the US military standard certification. It’s not only waterproof and dustproof but has an anti-shattered screen as well.

The chassis is forged from magnesium alloy (protective case), glass (front display panel), soft and hard plastic, protected Type-C port allows it to an indestructible rugged phone. It’s a unique aircraft style layout and a typical rugged appearance.

AGM X2 integrates a 5.5-inch 1080P AMOLED screen along with Gorilla Glass Protection. The heart of the flagship is the new Snapdragon 653. The phone divides into three variants:

• Standard version (6GB+64GB+VOC) for 3699 Yuan ($553)
• Higher version (6GB+128GB+VOC) for 4199 Yuan ($627)
• Exclusive version (6GB+128GB+Beidou module+8000mAh+VOC) for 7999 Yuan ($1195)

There’s also a special Crocodile pattern version of the first two variants as well priced 3999 yuan ($597) for the standard version and 4699 yuan ($702) for the higher version.

Moreover, the 12MP Sony IMX 386 dual camera is also the selling point of the flagship as well as the front 16MP camera. A generous 6000mAh battery powers the phone.

The exclusive version in addition to the 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM also comes with Beidou module and 8000mAh battery. According to official introduction, AGM X2 with Beidou module AGM X2 can communicate in the no man’s land. Furthermore, it also automatically sends life help SMS as well. The version is expensive but is a total life savior in certain survival scenarios.

Moreover, AGM X2 has a surprising highlight which is the VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) sensor. VOC is a special sensor capable of detecting if our environment is safe for human breathing and if there is any type of concentration of VOCs in the area.

As AGM is getting popular, the company is eventually increasing the price of the new releases as well. The rugged X1 flagship appears to be a bit expensive in comparison with the previous generation ‘X1’. The price is almost double than the current price of X1. But let’s not forget the incredible design and specs the new AGM X2 has to offer. Even X1 release price was around $500.
