Android 8.0 Oreo Encounters Huge Bug – Serious Bluetooth Problems

It’s been only one day since the release of Android 8.0 Oreo and we are already experiencing a major bug. According to Android Police report, Nexus and Pixel devices are suffering from serious Bluetooth problems after the update.

Getting into the details Android media content is not displaying correctly in the user interface. The phone normally shows that the device is paired but no audio is playing. The music plays for a second but stuck and the screen doesn’t show anything. Audio cuts out briefly every 5-20 seconds and clipping and skipping sounds are heard while playing via Bluetooth. Incoming calls are working but the outgoing calls revert to the phone’s speakers.

Moreover, some users are also experiencing automatic Bluetooth turning off as soon as it’s turned on. However, only some of the users are experiencing these issues.

Till now the problem hasn’t solved. It’s a disappointment that the same issue appeared in the developer preview but Google developers didn’t fix it and now the same problem is in the release. Google is currently gathering as much information as possible from the feedbacks and will solve the problem with a fix in the new quick update of Android 8.0 Oreo.
