Meizu M6T

Meizu M6T GeekBench Scores Leaked – Uses Spreadtrum SC9850 SoC?

Yesterday, Meizu officially send invites to its latest flagship Meizu M6T or Meizu 6T launch on May 29. However, today, the flagship appeared on Geekbench revealing Meizu M6T GeekBench Scores.

Meizu M6T release date

According to the leaked Meizu M6T Geekbench database, Meizu M6T is not a high-performance flagship but a low-end one. Thus, Meizu is looking forward to covering the low-end smartphones market. Furthermore, the database illustrates that the phone uses an octa-core processor (@1.3GHz). However, there’s a twist.

Instead of using a Qualcomm, MediaTek or Samsung, Meizu M6T uses China’s own Spreadtrum SoC.  The name of the processor is ARM sc9850 or Spreadtrum SC9850. It scores:

  • Multi-core Score of 1284 points
  • Single-core Score of 460 points

Thus, running on a low-end Chinese SoC, the phone will be a ‘hundred yuan flagship’ around 699 to 999 yuan, cheaper than Redmi 5, Redmi 5A, and Redmi Note 5.

Meizu M6T Specs and Configuration

The flagship integrates a 5.7-inches 1440 x 720 full screen. It will come with a 2 /3 /4GB memory + 16/32/64GB storage combination.

Furthermore, on the rear, there’s a 13MP + 2 MP dual camera. Meanwhile, an 8MP selfie shooter embeds on the front. Meizu M6T will be powered by a 3230mAh  battery and runs on Android 7.1.1.

From the configuration aspect, Meizu M6T has no surprises. However, the biggest highlights will be the use of Spreadtrum’s own SoC as well as the metal design of the flagship.

The price will define the phone itself. If its cheaper than Redmi 5 and other competitive low-end phones, then surely it will be one of the best Chinese low-end smartphones to date.
