Samsung Galaxy Fold China Release Date Set – The First UFS 3.0 Phone!

On April 13th, Samsung officially announced that the Galaxy Fold will debut in China on April 16. The flagship will be released in the United States on April 26, so the Chinese version is not that far away.

As a folding screen flagship, the Samsung Galaxy Fold offers an experience that is different from the traditional full-screen smartphones. The phone has two display screens, the small screen size is 4.6 inches AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 21:9. Meanwhile, the main screen is an enormous 7.3 inches, with an aspect ratio of 4.2:3.

Concerning the configuration, Samsung Galaxy Fold will feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 along with 12GB of memory + 512GB UFS 3.0 storage. We should also notice that Galaxy Fold will be the first smartphone to feature the latest UFS 3.0 storage. Furthermore, the phone will be powered by a 4380mAh battery, based on Android 9 Customized One UI with side fingerprint recognition.

At present, the official version of the Galaxy Fold has not been announced yet. Considering that the Galaxy Fold will have a price of  US$1980 (about RMB 13,300) in the US market, the price in the Chinese market is expected to exceed RMB 10,000 (US$1490+).
