Getting into the details, VST ECS sellers will be responsible for the product distribution in the market and the provision of after-sales service products. Xiaomi Thailand will sell products in online sales via major retailers nationwide such as Lazada.

Xiaomi Thailand’s first two debuting smartphones will be Xiaomi Mi 6 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. Here is the official pricing of the smartphones:

  • Mi 6 Standard Version (6GB + 64GB+Black) for 13790 baht on August 25 (Lazada)
  • Mi 6 Higher Version (6GB+128GB+Black) on September 1st (Price is Unknown)
  • Redmi Note 4 Standard Version (4GB+64GB+Black and Dark Grey Colors) for 6790 baht on August 25 (Lazada) and August 28 (IT City). It also includes offline retailers.

As far as the after sales service is concerned VST ECS will manage it through VServePlus. The staff includes ten professional engineers and customer support branch.

Xiaomi Mi 6

Xiaomi Mi 6 currently Xiaomi’s best till date. It’s a high-end smartphone integrating a 5.15-inch 1080p IPS screen, Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM and 64/128GB storage. The highlight is the 3D glass design and the 12MP rear dual camera. Meanwhile, the front camera is 8MP. It runs on MIUI 9 (Android 7.1.1) and a 3350 mAh battery powers the flagship via Type-C port. Sadly, the 3.5mm jack is not present in the phone.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 new

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is a mid-end, budget-friendly flagship by Xiaomi. It integrates an enormous 5.50-inch 1080p IPS display. It’s not sure whether Thailand will get a deca-core SoC known as MediaTek Helio X20 or an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC version of Note 4. The SoC is coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It also runs on MIUI 9 (Android 7.1.1). The selling point of the flagship is the stupendous price and a 4100mAh generous battery. Moreover, we have a 12MP rear camera and a front 5MP camera.

The pricing appears to be a bit expensive. If Xiaomi wasn’t selling via the local partners like in India, the price could have been a lot better. If everything goes according to the plan, maybe Xiaomi will open an official Mi store soon in Thailand.
