Since Android 11 came out, every manufacturer is enrolling users to test their Android 11 beta program. Previously, Xiaomi issued a Google form to submit user enrollment in the beta program. For realme, it’s much easier to enroll in the Realme Android 11 R Beta Program. All you have to do is download the official Android Beta ROM for the mentioned phone. I’ll be telling you where you can get these ROMs and how to flash it on your phone.

realme Android 11 R Beta Program – Criteria

Nothing special is needed apart from the phones which are eligible for the beta program. These include:

This is the first batch that will get the Android 11 Beta before others and that’s why realme has open the beta program for these three phones. More phones will be added over time once this batch is cleared.

realme Android 11 Beta Program – How to Flash?

Before you flash:

• Make a backup
• Please keep the battery level over 30%
• Please do not turn off your phone during the update process

You can flash the ROM by following these steps:

Step 1: The ROM will erase your phone data. Please backup your data. Don’t worry you can rollback to the previous version (android 10) if you didn’t like the new ROM. You can backup by:  Settings > Additional Settings > Back Up and Reset > Backup & Restore. You can store the data in the OPPO cloud (free and recommended) or in another phone via Clone Phone.

Step 2: Download the ROM from the link provided above. Transfer it to the phone storage.

Step 3: Click on the file. A pop-up will appear which will give you data erasing warning. Click Next. The next message will inform you of the method to backup your data. Click Next again. Now wait for 5 seconds and you will have the ‘Update now‘ option accessible. Click on it. Your phone will turn off and get into recovery mode to continue the procedure. After that, it will restart again and you will be seeing the new Android 11 R.

Want to move back from realme Android 11 R Beta Program to Android 10. Follow the same procedure when you moved to Android 11 Beta. But instead of installing the Android 11 R beta ROM, you must install this rollback package:
