Apple iPhone SE 4 Going Full Screen With Apple A16 SoC

According to MacRumors, Apple’s next-generation SE series iPhone SE 4 will be released after the iPhone 15 series.

Compared with iPhone SE 3, the biggest change of the iPhone SE 4 is the upgrade to a full screen, when Apple mobile phones will all step into the era of full-screen, saying goodbye to the traditional 16: 9 mobile phone.

In terms of size, the iPhone SE 4 screen is 5.7 inches or 6.1 inches, and the screen will be LCD.

In addition to the changes in the screen, another important highlight of the iPhone SE 4 is that it is equipped with the Apple A16 Bionic chip, which is the processor currently used in the iPhone 14 Pro series.

Compared to the A15 used on the iPhone SE 3, the A16 processor has 2 high-performance cores with a main frequency of 3.46GHz, up from 3.23GHz on the A15, and a GPU with a main frequency of 700MHz, up from 600MHz.

In terms of transistor count, Apple’s A16 has increased from 15 billion to nearly 16 billion. The neural engine architecture is the same as the A15, and single-core CPU performance has increased by about 8-10% over the A15.
