Honor 300 Ultra is launched with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 Chipset

Honor has released a bunch of new devices with Honor 300 Ultra being the most powerful device of all. The phone comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, up to 16GB RAM, a maximum of 1TB device storage, a 6.78-inch OLED quad-curved screen with a resolution of 2700 x 1224, a 50MP front camera, triple cameras on the rear side, a 5300mAh battery which supports 100W fast charging and much more.

For optimal performance, the Honor Ultra 300 comes with the first 3.0Ghz version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It has 1 x 3.0Ghz Cortex-X4, 5 x 2.96Ghz Cortex A-720 and 2 x 2.0Ghz Cortex A-520). To keep the phone cool, it has 5526mm² stainless steel bionic VC heat dissipation.

For faster data transfer rates, the phone has RAM options of 12GB and 16 GB. As for device storage, it has options of 512GB and 1TB.

Design & Appearance

To provide an optimal viewing experience, the Honor Ultra 300 comes with a vibrant 6.78-inch OLED quad-curved screen with a resolution of 2700 x 1224. For a smoother experience, it supports 120Hz refresh rate and 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. The screen supports a local peak brightness of 4000 nits, 1.07 billion color display, natural color display 2.0, AI sleep-aiding display, and HDR Vivid. 

It has a thickness of 8.2mm, the glass version weighs 199g and the plain leather version weighs 198g. For added connectivity, it supports NFC, WiFi 7, infrared remote control, Beidou satellite SMS, and is equipped with MagicOS 9.0 system. Users can choose from two color options

Cameras of the Honor Ultra 300

Users can take optimal photos and videos on the Honor Ultra 300 with a 50MP front camera. At the same time, the back camera comes with a triple-camera setup. The primary lens is 50MP (Sony IMX906, 1/1.56 inch sensor size and OIS). It has other lenses of 12MP ultra-wide angle macro lens (112 degrees and closest focusing distance of 2.5cm) and a 50MP periscope telephoto (Sony IMX856, OIS, and 3.8x optical zoom).

Battery

To power the Honor Ultra 300, it has a 5300mAh battery which supports 100W fast charging. It can charge the device to 59% in just 15 minutes, while 100% battery charging takes 35 minutes. Moreover, the phone supports 80W wireless fast charging that takes 52 minutes to fully charge the device.

Price & Availability

The Honor 300 Ultra has been officially released in China and will soon be available in other parts of the world. It has various variants for users to choose from

• 12+512GB version is priced at 4,199 Yuan ($577)
• 16GB+1TB version is priced at 4,699 Yuan ($646)
