Honor 300 Pro is official with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Chipset

Honor 300 Pro is another great device in the 300 series. It has a nice design and an affordable price tag. The phone has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, 12GB RAM, maximum of 512GB device storage, a 6.78-inch OLED quad-curved screen, a 50MP front camera, triple cameras on the back, a 5300mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging, and much more.

For faster performance, the Honor 300 Pro comes with the first 3.0 GHz version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It has 1 x 3.0Ghz Cortex-X4, 5 x 2.96Ghz Cortex-A720 and 2 x 2.04Ghz Cortex-A520.

It has 12GB RAM and device storage options of 256GB and 512 GB. 

Display & Appearance

Users can enjoy a 6.78-inch OLED quad-curved screen on the Honor 300 Pro with a resolution of 2700 x 1224. For a smoother user experience, it supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and a local peak brightness of 4000 nits. The screen supports a 1.07 billion color display, natural light eye protection, AI sleep-aiding display, dry eye-friendly eye protection, and HDR Vivid.

It has a thickness of 8.2mm and weighs around 199g. For added connectivity, it supports NFC, WiFi 7, infrared remote control, has IP65 dust and water resistance, and is equipped with MagicOS 9.0 system. Users can choose from various color options

Cameras of the Honor 300 Pro

For optimal selfies and videos, the Honor 300 Pro has a 50MP front camera. At the same time, the back side comes with a triple camera setup. The primary lens is 50MP (Sony IMX906, 1/1.56 and OIS). It has other lenses of 12MP ultra-wide angle macro (112 degrees, closest focusing distance of 2.5cm) and 50MP telephoto (Sony IMX856, OIS). The camera also supports elegant light and shadow as well as the Honor AI light engine. 

Battery

To power the Honor 300 Ultra, it has a 5300mAh battery which supports 100W fast charging. It can charge the device to 59% in just 15 minutes, while it takes only 35 minutes to fully charge. The phone also supports 80W wireless fast charging that takes 52 minutes to fully charge the device. 

Price & Availability

The Honor 300 Pro has been officially released in China and will soon be available in other parts of the world. It has various variants for users to choose from

• 12+256GB is priced at 3,399 Yuan ($467)
• 12+512GB is priced at 3,699 Yuan ($508)
• 16+512GB is priced at 3,999 Yuan ($549)
