Apple iPhone 16e is official with A18 Chipset

Apple has released the super budget-friendly Apple iPhone 16e, a phone with new specs and an old body. The phone comes with an A18 chipset, 8GB RAM, up to 512GB storage, a 6.1-inch screen with a resolution of 2532 x 1170, a 12MP front camera, a single 48MP back camera, a battery close to 3582mAh, and much more.

Design & Appearance

The front side of the latest Apple iPhone 16e resembles the iPhone 13. It has the same 6.1-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2532 x 1170. Like the base models, it supports a 60Hz refresh rate, a manual maximum brightness of 800 nits, and a local peak brightness of 1200 nits. 

The phone is 7.8 mm thick and weighs around 167g. Its back panel is made of frosted glass, and the middle frame is made of aluminum alloy. It supports NFC, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, an operation button, and a USB-C interface. It is also equipped with an iOS 18 system. Users can choose between two color options.

Processor & Storage

Apple has provided the latest A18 chipset (quad-core GPU version) in the Apple iPhone 16e. It is also the first phone with an Apple C1 self-developed 5G baseband (the most energy-efficient modem to date). Moreover, the phone supports Apple Intelligence, and the ultra-wideband technology chip is castrated. 

Cameras of the Apple iPhone 16e

On the front side of the Apple iPhone 16e, it has a 12MP single lens hidden under the notch. At the same time, the back side only comes with a single lens of a 48MP fusion camera (Same as iPhone 16).

Battery

Apple does not disclose the battery capacity, but it is said to be around 3582mAh (near the iPhone 16 Pro). The phone can last up to 26 hours of video viewing and can be charged to 50% in 30 minutes. It supports 7.5W Qi wireless charging, but the MagSafe option is not supported.

The Apple iPhone 16e has been officially released worldwide and will soon be available in stores near you. Users can choose from various storage options.
