Oppo Find N5 is launched with Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition Chip

Oppo has entered the market with the ambition to dominate, with the Oppo Find N5 being one of the most expensive phones available from the company. Reflecting its high price, the specifications are also of premium quality. The phone features a Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition (7-core version), up to 16GB of RAM, a maximum of 1TB of storage, an 8.12-inch internal screen, a 6.62-inch external screen, and a 5600mAh battery that supports 80W wired fast charging, among many other features. Regarding cameras, it includes an 8MP front camera for both the inner and outer screens, along with triple cameras on the rear.

Processor & Storage

Oppo Find N5 is the first phone to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition (7-core version) mobile processing platform. It has a National Security Agency-certified security chip, and the 1TB satellite version comes with a Shanhai communication-enhanced chip.

It has LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0 flash memory for faster data transfer rates. Users can choose between 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB for storage. As for RAM, it has options of 12GB and 16 GB.

Screen & Appearance

On the internal side, Oppo Find N5 has a flexible inner screen measuring 6.62 inches and a resolution of 2616 x 1140. The Pro XDR screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate, a screen ratio of 20:65:9, a peak brightness of 1600 nits, and 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. Mirror UTG glass protects the screen.

The fiberglass version is 4.21mm thick unfolded, 8.93mm thick folded, and weighs 229g. At the same time, the plain leather version is 4.63mm when unfolded, 9.35mm thick when folded, and weighs 234g. Other features include three-stage buttons, four microphones, IPX9 waterproof durability, a side fingerprint sensor, and is equipped with the ColorOS 15 system. Hinge of the Oppo Find N5

The hinge of any foldable smartphone is the most crucial thing. Oppo’s latest phone has a 3D-printed titanium alloy ultra-thin inclined plate and a 3D-printed titanium alloy shaft outer middle frame. Cameras

Oppo Find N5 has an 8MP front camera on both the inner and outer screens. As for the rear side, it has a triple camera setup for optimal photos and videos. The primary lens is a 50MP (LYT-700, 1/1.56”). It has other lenses with an 8MP ultra-wide angle (Howe OV08D10, 1/4″) and 50MP periscope telephoto (Samsung S5KJN5, 1/2.76”), and it supports live photo and macro mode.

Battery

The Oppo Find N5 has a 5600mAh glacier battery (10% silicon content) and supports 80W wired fast charging. It can charge the device to 100% in just 46 minutes. Furthermore, it supports 50W wireless charging and 10W wireless reverse charging.

Price & Availability

The Oppo Find N5 has been officially released in China and will soon be available in other parts of the world. It has various variants for users to choose from
