Honor GT is launched with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Chipset

Honor GT is the latest release by Honor and it is a good option for consumers who want decent specs at a budget price. The phone comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, up to 16GB RAM, a maximum of 1TB storage, a 6.7-inch OLED flexible straight screen, a 16MP front camera, a 50MP rear camera, a 5300mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging, and a much more.

Processor & Storage

For optimal performing power, the Honor GT comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It has Honor’s self-developed Phantom Engine, 5514mm² VC, and aerospace-grade high-performance thermal conductive gel to keep the processor cool. As for RAM options, users can choose from 12GB and 16GB. Users can choose from memory storage options of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. 

Design & Appearance

To provide a vibrant experience, the Honor GT comes with a 6.7-inch OLED flexible straight screen (LTPS) with a resolution of 2664 x 1200. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, 1.07 billion colors, and an AI sleep-aiding display. For a brighter display, it supports local peak brightness of 4000nits, 360-degree full scene motion sickness relief display, and natural eye protection.

The phone has a thickness of 7.7mm and weighs 196g. For added connectivity, it has WiFi 7, NFC, infrared remote control, and Honor dual speakers and is equipped with Magic OS 9.0 system based on Android 15. Users can choose from various color options

• Aurora Green

Cameras of the Honor GT

On the front side, the Honor GT comes with a 16MP single lens. At the same time, the back side comes with dual cameras for optimal photos. The primary lens is 50MP (Sony IMX906) and 12MP ultra-wide angle macro secondary camera.

Battery

The Honor GT has a 5300mAh Qinghai Lake battery which supports 100W fast charging. It can charge the device to 60% in just 15 minutes and only takes 34 minutes to 100% charge the device.

The Honor GT has been officially released in China and will soon be available in other parts of the world. It has various variants for users to choose from

• 16+256GB is priced at 2399 yuan ($329)
• 12+512GB is priced at 2599 yuan ($356)
• 16+512GB is priced at 2899 yuan ($391)
