[su_heading size=”20″ margin=”30″]Our Verdict[/su_heading]

Ending this Xiaomi Mi 9 Review, we believe that Xiaomi Mi 9 is the product which will bring back Xiaomi’s control to the high-end market around the globe, after having a tough time with Mi MIX 3. There are many improvements done in Mi 9 in comparison to the previous generation.

The controversial broad chin has been reduced to the minimum. Concerning the design of the Mi 8 and Mi 6, the sandwich tradition is re-evolved and upgraded with full-curved glass makes it feel round and visually slim, complemented by holographic illusion colors.

The use of SD 855 needs no explanation. Whether it is running benchmarks or actual experience, the performance of Xiaomi Mi 9 has already won the Android camp.

Photographing is the top priority of Xiaomi over the years. Lei Jun even set up a camera department for it. It bloomed on Xiaomi 8/MIX2S and went to Xiaomi MIX 3. When it comes to Xiaomi Mi 9, its previous investment can be seen thoroughly, with the best video shooting score. The 48-megapixel IMX586 camera comes with a large aperture and the addition of a super wide-angle lens enhances playability.

Considering the battery, that 100mAh reduced battery might have been a downside, but the actual battery life is pretty impressive and the phone can survive a whole day. It’s a perfect balance between power and battery along with the coverup features like 27W wired charging and 20W wireless charging.

We must say that there’s no innovation this time which makes the phone stand exclusively like the Mi MIX 3.

The price, because the standard version is 6GB + 128GB, has been increased to 2,999 yuan ($448). It still has the best price/performance ratio. Finally, we can conclude that:

Xiaomi Mi 9 is still cost-effective , best price/performance ratio and most importantly has improved features
