Edifier Uni-Buds Manual | How to Pair / Connect?

To iOS and Android phones

Step 1: Place the earbuds into the charging case.

Step 2: Press and hold the button on the case for around 3 seconds to enter Bluetooth pairing and the Bluetooth icon on the screen flashes.

Step 3: Turn on the Bluetooth on the desired device.

Step 4: Go to the Bluetooth settings.

Step 5: Select the “Edifier Uni-Buds”. If a password is needed, type “0000”.

To PC (Windows)

Step 1: Turn on Window’s Bluetooth.

Step 2: Go to the settings.

Step 3: Go to “Bluetooth and other devices”.

Step 4: Click on “Add device”.

Step 5: Click on Bluetooth.

Step 6: Place the earbuds into the charging case.

Step 7: Press and hold the button on the case for around 3 seconds to enter Bluetooth pairing and the Bluetooth icon on the screen flashes.

Step 8: The earbuds by the name “Edifier Uni-Buds” will appear on the settings.

Step 9: Select and, after this, the earbuds will automatically connect to the desired device and will be ready to use. If a password is needed, type “0000”.

Step 1: When the earbuds are not connected, place them into the charging case.

Step 2: Press and hold the button on the case for approx. 6 seconds to enter TWS pairing. After that, the left and right ear icons on the display screen flash alternately and they will pair.

Earbuds

To charge the earbuds, all you have to do is to place the earbuds into their place on the charging case and close it. The earbuds will automatically start charging.

Charging case

Step 1: Use a certified USB-C charging cable and charger to prevent any damage.

Step 2: Connect the charging case to the power supply by using a USB Type-C charging cable.

• When the charging case is closed, press the button to check the battery level on the case.
• When the charging case is open, press the button to check the battery level of the case and earbuds.

• When the charging case is open, the low battery icon flashes automatically for around 3 seconds and then turns o­ff.
• When the charging case has only 10% remaining power, it will enable the low battery protection function. The button will not work at this time, and the charging case can power on/o­ff only.

How to Control? / How to Operate? – Instructions

• Play or pause music: Double-click the tap zone on the right earbud.
• Play next song: Triple-click the tap zone on the right earbud.
• Play previous song: Triple-click the tap zone on the left earbud.
• Accept an incoming call: Double-click the tap zone on any of the earbuds.
• End a call: Double-click the tap zone on any of the earbuds.
• Activate Voice Assistant: Double-click the tap zone on the left earbud (if no music playing or phone conversion).

Turn on

Take out the earbuds from the charging case. They will automatically turn on.

Turn off

Place the earbuds back into the charging case. They will automatically turn off.

Step 1: Place the earbuds into the charging case.

Step 2: Press and hold the button on the case for approx. 10 seconds to restore to factory settings.

NOTE: Restoring the factory settings will clear the pairing records between earbuds and the mobile phone, and it will also restore the settings in the APP to the factory settings.

The Edifier Uni-Buds can be used with an application, called Edifier Connect. This application is available for iOS and Android devices.

Some Common Earbuds Problems & Troubleshooting

When charging the charging case, the battery icon does not display

If that happens, you can do the following:

1. Please ensure that the charging case is correctly connected with a power source.

2. If the earbuds are not used for a long time, the battery will not respond at once. At this time, recharge for about 30 minutes to back to the charging state.

When playing music, cannot control pause/play/previous/next track via the earbuds

If this happens, you will have to make sure that the paired device supports AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile) profile.

Tap sensitivity is not good

 If this happens, you will have to make sure to touch in the e­ffective tap zone of the earbuds and see if the intensity/angle is moderate. If the tap sensitivity setting of these earbuds does not meet your usage habits, you can adjust it to suit your tap sensitivity in the earbuds APP.

Left / Right / One side of the earbuds have stopped working

If this happens, it may be because it is low on battery or it did not connect correctly with the device. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try charging the earbud that is not working or both, placing them in the charging case.

2. Try factory reset the earbuds.

3. Check if the earbuds are correctly connected to the desired device.

4. Check if the earbuds are operating within a normal working range

If that doesn’t work, the earbud is probably faulty, and I can go for a refund or replacement of it.

Left / Right / One side of the earbuds has low volume

If this happens, it may be because the earbuds are dirty or the volume is set low. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try cleaning the earbud using a cotton swab or carefully clean the mesh with a pin.

2. Try factory reset the earbuds.

Microphone not working

If this happens, it can be because the microphone is muted, or the earbuds are badly positioned. To fix this, you can do the following:

If the microphone is muted, check the device microphone volume. If that doesn’t work, that means that there might be a defect in the earbud, so try replacing them or get a refund.

Edifier Uni-Budsearbuds not connecting to Windows/laptop/PC

If the earbuds are earbuds not connecting, it can be because the Bluetooth on the computer has a pairing problem. To fix this, you can do the following:

1. Try disabling Bluetooth from nearby devices >>> then activate pairing mode of the earbuds, pair and connect earbuds from Settings >>> Bluetooth & other devices >>> Add a new device >>>> elect Bluetooth,

2. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Bluetooth driver, or update the Bluetooth driver. All can be done in Manage >>> Device Manager, reset earbuds (if available), and then repeat the step.

3. Try resetting the earbuds as said in the pairing section above.
