Today, a Weibo user leaked the real ASUS ROG Gaming Phone 3 hands-on image.
From the leaked ASUS ROG Gaming Phone 3 hands-on image, like the previous generation, the ROG Gaming Phone 3 uses an OLED display without borders. The back shape is basically the same as the previous generation. The only difference is that the ROG Gaming Phone 3 has upgraded to the triple-rear camera where the primary camera has a resolution of 64MP.
Another major upgrade is in the performance. The ROG gaming phone 3 features the overclocked version of Snapdragon 865 which is SD 865+.
According to the rumors and leaks, the max CPU frequency of the ASUS ROG gaming phone 3 reaches 3.09GHz (the CPU frequency of the Snapdragon 865 is 2.84GHz), and the total score of AnTuTu v8 reaches 646310 points.
So this may be the Snapdragon 865 Plus. Another interesting fact is that the latest year when SD 855 Plus was released, ROG Gaming Phone 2 was the first phone to feature it. So, things could be same this year as well.
It is also rumored that Lenovo Legion Gaming Phone also uses this high-frequency SoC, which has powerful performance.
In terms of core configuration, apart from the SD 865 Plus, the ROG gaming phone 3 uses a 6.59-inch display with a resolution of 2340×1080, a maximum of 16GB memory + 512GB storage, a front 13MP selfie shooter, and a rear 64MP triple camera. The battery capacity is a tremendous 6000mAh, and the phone weighs 240g.
Let’s see which one releases first, Lenovo Legion Gaming Phone or Asus ROG Gaming Phone 3.
