Honor 100 Pro debuts with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Chipset

Honor 100 Pro has been officially released as the ultimate phone from the company. It comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, 16GB RAM, up to 1TB device storage, a 6.78-inch OLED screen that supports 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP front camera, triple cameras on the back, a 5000mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging, and a much more.

Processor & Display 

The Honor 100 Pro gets its processing power from Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile chipset. It has Honor’s self-developed RF enhancement chip C1 and 4674mm² wide area VC heat dissipation that keeps the device cool. 

The device has RAM options of 12GB and 16 GB. It has device memory storage of 256GB, 512GB and 1TB. 

Display & Appearance 

The Honor 100 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch OLED four-curve screen with a resolution of 2700 x 1224. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming for a smoother user experience. The screen has a peak brightness of 2600nit and supports 1.07 billion colors. It supports natural light like eye protection, natural color display technology,c and sleep aid display technology to safeguard the eyes of the consumers. The screen has passed TUV Rheinland and Eye Protection 3.0. 

It has a glass version that has a thickness of 8.2mm, and the plain leather version is 8.55mm thick. They weigh around 195g, making them lightweight and durable. The device has dual stereo speakers, supports NFC, and is equipped with MagicOS 7.2 system. The device comes in various colors for consumers to choose from

Cameras of the Honor 100 Pro

The front camera of the Honor 100 Pro is 50MP, it is the first camera to have a Sony IMX816 sensor. It has a triple camera setup on the back for optimal photos and videos. The primary lens is 50MP (first Sony IMX906, 1/1.56 inch and OIS). It has another lens of 12MP ultra-wide angle macro (112 degrees and minimum focus distance of 2.5cm). The third lens is 32MP telephoto portrait (2.5x and OIS).

Battery

The battery capacity of the Honor 100 Pro is 5000mAh three pole single cell. It supports 100W fast charging that can charge the device to 100% in just 30 minutes. The device also has 66W wireless fast charging that can charge the device to 100% in just 42 minutes. 

Price & Availability 

The Honor 100 Pro has been officially released in China and will be soon available in other parts of the world. It comes in a couple of options for users to choose from

• 12 + 256GB is priced at 3,399 yuan ($479)
• 16 + 256GB is priced at 3,699 yuan ($521)
• 16 + 512GB is priced at 3,999 yuan ($563)
• 16GB +1TB is priced at 4,399 yuan ($620)
