Honor 80 Pro Debuts | New Changes in Lesser Price

Honor just released the newer and flatter version of their Honor 80 Pro. The 6.67-inch display has no curves as compared to the older phone. Moreover, the camera also has some downgrades when it comes to super-wide sensors. The phone uses the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and 12GB RAM to provide a smooth experience to the user.

Design & Appearance:


The front of the Honor 80 Pro has a punch-hole camera in the middle. It hosts the front camera of the phone. The phone will be running the MagicOS 7 based on Android 12.

On the back side, it has a camera module with three identical camera lenses. The black color weighs around 186g. Whereas, the other two colors have a weight of 193g. It has a thickness of 7.99mm.

The phone will be available in three different colors for the consumers to choose from

  • Black
  • Green
  • Pink

Screen & Display

The Honor 80 Pro has a 6.67-inch flexible OLED screen. Unlike the previous Honor 80 Pro, it will have a straight screen. The pixel density is 2400×1080 and has support 10bit color depth. It will have a global peak brightness of 1000 nits with low brightness of 30 nits. It also has 1920Hz PWM dimming for eye protection of consumers.

Hardware & Performance

The chipset in the Honor 80 Pro has the 3.0 GHz Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. It is the third phone by Honor with a candy bar 3.0 GHz processor.

It will only be available in 12GB RAM, to provide optimal performance to the users.


The front camera has a single sensor of 32MP, it is nested in the punch hole cutout.

On the back, it has a triple camera configuration. The primary lens is the same as the previous Honor 80, a 160MP sensor. Whereas the super wide angle is now just 8MP as compared to 50MP on the previous generation. And the third lens is the 2MP macro sensor.


Connectivity & Network

The phone will have 5G connections as well as basic connectivity features such as NFC, Bluetooth, and infrared.


The newer Honor 80 Pro has a 4800mAh battery to run the device. Users can take benefit from the 66W fast charging to achieve 50% charge in around 15 minutes. To completely charge the device, consumers have to wait for a little over half an hour.

Price & Availability

One thing to note about the phone is, that it will only be available offline. Users have to physically visit a shop rather than buy it online.
