Honor Magic 6 is released with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Chipset

Honor Magic 6 is officially released and the phone is set to provide decent performance in a decent price range. The device has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processing platform, up to 16GB RAM, maximum memory options of 512GB, 6.78-inch OLED with a resolution of 2800 x 1264, 50MP front camera, triple cameras on the back, 5450mAh battery, and much more.

The Honor Magic 6 comes with an industry-leading Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processing platform. It has ultra-wide area liquid cooling and a self-developed RF enhancement Honor C1 chip. The device has a self-developed enhancement chip Honor E1 paired with an independent security chip. For faster and smoother data transfer rates, the device has LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 flash memory.

The device has RAM options of 12GB and 16 GB. It has memory storage options of 256GB and 512 GB. 

Display & Appearance

The Honor Magic 6 has a vibrant 6.78-inch OLED fully symmetrical deep micro curved screen with a resolution of 2800 x 1264. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate (1 – 120Hz 8T LTPO) that provides a smoother user experience while saving the battery. The screen supports the industry’s first 360Hz overclocking synchronous display technology. It has 4310Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, Honor JuRhino glass, and Android’s first all-weather full-screen off-display. The screen has a global peak brightness of 1600nit and a local peak brightness of 5000nit. 

It has a glass version that has a thickness of 8.1mm and weighs around 206g. The device also has a plain leather version that weighs around 199g. It supports infrared remote control, NFC, and dual speakers and is equipped with a MagicOS 8.0 system based on Android 14. The device comes in various color options for users to choose from

Camera 

The Honor Magic 6 has a 50MP front camera and triple cameras on the back for optimal photos and videos. It has a primary lens of a 50MP main camera (OmniVision OVH9000, F1.9, and OIS). The other lenses are 50MP ultra-wide angle and 32MP periscope telephoto (2.5x optical, 50x digital zoom, and OIS). It has three image styles vivid, natural, and texture. 

Battery of the Honor Magic 6

The battery capacity of the Honor Magic 6 is a 5450mAh second-generation Qinghai Lake battery, It supports 66W fast charging that only takes 43 minutes for the phone to fully charge. The device has also an extreme speed mode that only requires 38 minutes to charge the phone. It has 50W wireless charging and an Honor Dujiangyan power management system.

The Honor Magic 6 has been officially released in China and will be soon available in other parts of the world. It has various options for users to choose from
