Honor Magic 6 Pro debuts with a 180MP Telephoto Lens

Honor has released their latest flagship device, Honor Magic 6 Pro and the device stands true to its name. The device has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processing platform, up to 16GB RAM, 1TB of maximum device storage, a 6.8-inch OLED four curved screen, 50MP front camera, triple cameras on the back, 5600mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging and much more.

The Honor Magic 6 Pro gets its processing power from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processing platform. It has ultra-wide area liquid cooling (5052m㎡ VC) to keep the device cool even after continuous usage. The device has a developed RF enhancement chip Honor C1+, a developed energy efficient enhancement chip Honor E1, and an independent security chip. It has LPDDR5x memory and UFS 4.0 flash memory for faster data transfer rates.

The device has RAM options of 12GB and 16 GB. It has device storage options of 256GB, 512GB and 1TB.

Display & Appearance

The Honor Magic 6 Pro features a stunning 6.8 inch OLED suspended streamlined four curved screen with a resolution of 2800 x 1280. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate with ( 1 – 120Hz 8T LTPO ) that provides a smooth experience while saving the battery. The screen has the industry’s first 360Hz overclocking synchronous display technology, Honor Ju Rhino glass, and the first android to have full screen off display. It has a global peak brightness of 1600nit and a local peak brightness of 5000nit.

The device has a glass version with a thickness of 8.9mm and a weight of 229g. It also has a plain leather version that weighs around 225g. The phone supports IP68 dustproof and waterproof, infrared remote control, NFC, symmetrical dual speakers, and runs on MagicOS 8.0 system (Android 14). It has various color options for users to choose from

Cameras of the Honor Magic 6 Pro

The front camera of the Honor Magic 6 Pro is 50MP with a TOF depth-sensing camera to give a bokeh effect to photos and videos. On the rear side, it has triple cameras for an improved user experience. The primary lens is 50MP (OmniVision OVH9000, F1.4/2.0 variable aperture and OIS). It has other lenses of 50MP ultra-wide angle and 180MP submersible telephoto lens (Samsung S5KHP3, 1/1.49” sensor size, 2.5x optical zoom, and 100x digital zoom with OIS). The cameras support three image styles vivid, natural, and textured. 

Battery

The battery capacity of the Honor Magic 6 Pro is a 5600mAh second-generation Qinghai Lake battery. It supports 80W fast charging and only takes 39 minutes for the phone to fully charge normally. The device also has an extreme speed mode that fully charges the device in just 36 minutes. It also has 66W wireless charging and an Honor Dujiangyan power management system.

The Honor Magic 6 Pro has been officially released in China and will be soon available in other parts of the world. It has various variants for users to choose from
