Honor Magic V2 Foldable Phone Released | Double the Fun

Honor Magic V2 has been officially released and could be one of the biggest releases of the year. It comes with the advanced edition of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, 16GB RAM, up to 1TB memory options, an external screen of the 6.43-inch screen, an internal screen of 7.92 inches, 400,000 plus worry fewer folds and much more. Folding phones have become the next big thing, and Magic V2 seems like a good competition to the Samsung Fold.

Display & Appearance

The external screen of the Honor Magic V2 is 6.43 inches BOE OLED with a resolution of 2376 x 1060. It has a screen ratio of 20:9, with support of 120Hz refresh rate and 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. The screen has passed TUV Rheinland flicker-free certification and supports natural light eye protection for user care. It has a global maximum brightness of 1500nit, peak brightness of 2500 nit, a super dynamic color display, and supports 1.07 billion colors, making it bright enough to be used outdoors. The screen has a second-generation nano-ceramic glass cover for added durability.

The internal screen of the Honor Magic V2 is 7.92 inches BOE OLED with a resolution of 2344 x 2156. It has a screen ratio of 9.8:9 and supports a 120Hz LTPO refresh rate. The super dynamic color display has a global maximum brightness of 1000nit, a peak brightness of 1600nit, and supports 1.07 billion colors. It also has natural light eye protection and has passed TUV Rheinland flicker-free certification. 

The glass version is 4.88mm when unfolded,10.1mm thick when folded, and weighs around 237g. On the other hand, the plain leather is 4.7mm thick unfolded, folded version is 9.9mm, and weighs around 231g. The device comes in 4 colors of

Hinge

The hinge is one of the most important components of any foldable phone, Honor Magic V2 comes with a Luban titanium alloy hinge and self developed shield steel. It is the first phone in the world to pass Swiss SGS high reliability folding gold standard certification. The device supports 400,000 folds without worry and supports multi-angle hovering.

Processor & Display

The Honor Magic V2 features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Advanced Edition mobile chipset. It has a combination of LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 flash memory for a smoother experience. The device has a built-in self-developed RF enhancement chip C1 and an independent security memory chip. The device has thermal gel, heat dissipation copper foil, and 0.22 mm ultra thing VC. It also has a three-dimensional multi-layer heat dissipation system with a dissipation area of 2900mm2 to keep the device cool even after continuous usage. 

The device has 16GB RAM, with memory options of 256GB, 512GB, and the ultimate version of 1TB. 

Camera

The Honor Magic V2 comes with a 16MP on the external screen. Likewise, the internal screen also has a 16MP front camera. On the rear side, it has a triple camera setup. The primary lens is 50MP, 50MP ultra-wide angle, and a 20MP telephoto lens (up to 40 times zoom).

Battery

The battery capacity of the Honor Magic V2 is 5000mAh; it is the industry’s thinnest battery at 2.72mm. It supports 66W fast charging to quickly juice up the device.

Price & Availability of Honor Magic V2

The Honor Magic V2 has been officially released in China and will soon be available in other parts of the world. It is one of the most expensive releases of the year, with equally great specs. The ultimate version also comes with a free magic pen.
