Honor Play 4 Pro Has An Infrared Thermometer to Check Temperature

Today, Honor Play 4 series debuted in which was the Honor Play 4 Pro. Interestingly, Honor Play 4 Pro is the first 5G smartphone to use an infrared thermometer to check the temperature in this COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the official introduction, Honor Play 4 Pro is the industry’s first infrared temperature measurement 5G phone, equipped with a non-contact infrared temperature measurement function.

Specifically, an infrared temperature sensor is added to the camera module on the back of the chassis of the Honor Play 4 Pro infrared temperature measurement version to determine the temperature of the measured object by receiving infrared energy.

It is reported that it can detect -20 degrees Celsius to 100 degrees Celsius, and the minimum division value is accurate to 0.1 degrees Celsius.

The official also gave some examples of usage scenarios. For example, in daily life, the temperature of boiling water and hot tea can be measured to avoid hot water burns. Families with children can also use the infrared thermometer of the Honor Play 4 Pro to measure the body temperature of the child or measure the milk. Honor Play 4 Pro can also measure the temperature of indoor air conditioners and heaters.
