The screen adopts a 6.74-inch waterdrop notch IPS screen, a 90Hz refresh rate, a high screen ratio of 90.07%, and has passed the Rheinland eye protection certification. A 50MP main camera on the rear and a 5MP camera on the front. The Play 40 Plus has a built-in 6000mAh large battery. According to official data, it can run short videos for 23 hours and catch up on dramas for 25 hours. It also supports 22.5W super fast charging. The phone holds on to the 3.5mm headphone jack, connectivity options include Bluetooth v5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, USB OTG, and GPS, and it has a side-mounted fingerprint.
