Finally, Honor launches its flagship device Honor Play Smartphone in India. The Honor Play smartphone equipped with a full-screen design and GPU turbo.
Honor, the sub-brand of Huawei, today launched its most anticipated and eagerly awaited high-performance device – Honor Play that aims to deliver maximum performance at a phenomenal rate.
The Honor Play equipped with a Kirin 970 octa-core chipset with 4 x A73 cores clocked at 2.36 GHz and 4 x A53 cores clocked at 1.84 GHz with ARM Mali-G72MP12 GPU, it supports a (19:9) 6.9-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels.
In terms of photography, the Honor Play is packed with an AI dual rear camera of 16MP (f/2.2 Aperture) + 2MP (f/2.4 Aperture ) with phase detection autofocus. On the front, we have a 16MP (f/2.0 Aperture) lens so you can capture a beautiful selfie. The honor play will also support 4K shooting videos at the rate of 30fps.
The Honor Play support scene recognition, reinforced by an AI algorithm driven by learning over 100 million images, Huawei nova 3i recognizes 22 categories of 500+ scenes.
The enhanced smart gallery intelligently identifies the characters and scenes in your photos and creates a tag for each group. You can also search for photos using keywords.
It will come in 4GB+64GB and 6+64GB of storage memory combination, It has 3750mAh battery capacity with fast charging support.
The Honor Play smartphone will run on Android Oreo 8.1 out of the box with the combination of Honor EMUI 8.2. It supports all the basic sensors like rear fingerprint + face unlock, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, and compass.
If we talk about design, the Honor Play has a metal back with the dual rear camera on the back. The phone measures in at 157.9 x 74.27 x 7.48mm, and weighs 176 grams. It comes in the Midnight Black and Navy Blue colors variants.
Honor Play 4GB+64GB version is priced at INR 19,999 around ($291) and 6+64GB version is priced at INR 23,999 around ($349) and available on Amazon from 6th August. There will be extra savings on Axis Card EMI.
