After much anticipation and waiting, the Honor X50 has been officially released once and for all. It comes with China’s first Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 mobile chipset, 6.78 inches OLED hyperbolic screen, a front camera of 8MP, dual cameras on the back, a 5800mAh battery and much more. The phone also has a very competitive price, making it one of the most affordable options ever.

The Honor X50 packs a 6.78-inch OLED hyperbolic screen with a resolution of 2652 x 1200. It has a refresh rate of 120Hz to provide a smoother user experience. It comes with 1200nit peak brightness, 1000Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate and supports 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. It has natural light eye protection and supports 1.07 billion colours.

The device has a thickness of 7.98mm and weighs around 185g. It supports fingerprint recognition under the screen. The device is being released in 4 colours for users to choose from

Processor & Storage

The Honor X50 has become the first Chinese phone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 mobile chipset. It is based on a 4nm architecture and has 8 cores. The 4 cores are 2.2Ghz Cortex A78, and the other 4 are 1.8Ghz Cortex A55.

Users can choose between 8GB, 12GB and 16GB of RAM. As for device memory, users have the options of 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. 

Camera 

The front camera of the Honor X50 is 8MP. It has a ring design on the rear side with a dual camera setup. The primary lens is 108MP (Samsung S5KHM6 with a sensor size of 1/1.67”), and the secondary camera of 2MP.

The battery capacity of the Honor X50 is 5800mAh which supports 35W fast charging. Moreover, the device can be charged 1000 thousand times and still have more than 80% battery health.
