Recently, Huawei officially said that the Honor 9X series will come in two variants, one will be Honor 9X, while the other will be Honor 9X PRO. Moreover, today, Honor 9X PRO camera samples surfaced on the internet as well.
Interestingly enough, Honor 9X Pro comes with a more impressive edge-to-edge design with motorized pop-up selfie cameras. The rear has a triple camera configuration with a 48MP primary sensor which makes a typical photo-shoot with the device to be bright and transparent, with high dynamic range, very little noise, and the details to be excellent in the case of extremely weak light. Also, the chin at the bottom of the two phones is not razor-thin. Here, have a look at the camera samples of Honor 9X PRO:
As you can see, the low light camera performance of Honor 9X PRO is incredible and not to boast, pretty similar to Huawei P30. The background noise is minimum and sharpness and details can be seen in the dark.
Getting into the details, the triple rear camera configuration will be 48MP + 8MP + 2MP. Honor 9X Pro will be equipped with the newly-announced HiSilicon Kirin 810 processing chipset, up to 8GB RAM, and up to 256GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot.
The Kirin 810 with the newly developed AI frequency modulation scheduling technology, Huawei 9X Pro will open a new world in terms of AI. It has a 2+6 size core architecture design and also equipped with two high-performance large cores based on Cortex-A76 custom development, all of them working simultaneously. Not to be left out, Cortex A55 energy-efficient small core which enables energy efficiency upgrades will also be a part of the Honor 9X Pro SoC.
We should also note that the Kirin 810 and 48MP rear camera, and front motorized camera are among the 8 highlights of the 9X and 9X Pro. What more will these phones feature? We will find out soon on July 23.
