Huawei Mate X5 Foldable Phone debuts with Kirin 9000s

Huawei has released its latest offering when it comes to foldable phones, the Huawei Mate X5. The device takes things to the next level with a heavy price tag. It comes with a Kirin 9000s processor, up to 16GB RAM, maximum device storage of 1TB, a 7.8-inch internal screen, an outer screen of 6.4 inches, a 5060mAh battery, and much more.

The Huawei Mate X5 comes with the Kirin 9000s chipset that has high thermal conductivity graphene material. It helps not only the best performance but also keeps the device cool. 

It has RAM options of 12GB and 16 GB. As for memory storage, it has options of 256GB, 512GB and 1TB.

Display & Appearance

The Huawei Mate X5 has an inner OLED screen of 7.8 inches with a resolution of 2496 x 2224. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, the 16GB variant even supports a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The screen has 1440Hz PWM dimming and supports multi-angle freedom hover. 

The Huawei Mate X5 has an outer OLED four-curved screen of 6.4 inches with a resolution of 2504 x 1080. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate (LTPP adaptive refresh rate) and 1440Hz PWM dimming. The device has two variants, the standard version is Kuun glass while the collector’s version is made of Xuanwu tempered glass. 

The device has a thickness of 5.3mm, plain leather weighs 243g and feather sand version weighs 245g. It has two-way Beidoi satellite messaging, USB 3.1 Gen 1, IPX8 waterproofing, and runs on Harmony OS 4 system. The device comes in 5 colors
