Huawei Nova 5T Is Official With Kirin 980 and 48 MP Quad Camera

Not surprisingly, Huawei will release the Mate 30 series in September. Prior to this, today, Huawei unexpectedly launched a new smartphone called Huawei Nova 5T as an addition to the Nova family.

It will be launched in Malaysia, Singapore, and other markets starting from September 7. The local price in Malaysia is 1599 Malaysian Ringgit (about 2,700 yuan/$377 USD/Rs 27122 INR).

Considering the specs, the Huawei nova 5T uses a 6.26-inch punch-hole display with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. It is equipped with a Kirin 980 SoC, accompanied by 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. The battery capacity is 3750mAh.

Furthermore, the front camera is 32MP with an aperture of F/2.0, support AI beauty. Meanwhile, the rear has a quad-camera configuration where the primary camera is 48MP (aperture F1.8) + 16MP super wide-angle (F2.2) + 2MP depth of field + 2MP macro lens. It supports AI scene recognition and super night scene mode.

It is worth noting that the Huawei nova 5T uses the side fingerprint recognition, which is the first time for the nova series. It also supports NFC, 4G dual card dual standby. The phone is based on Android 9.0 (EMUI 9.1).
