iQOO 12 debuts with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Chipset, 16GB RAM, 1TB Storage and Much More

iQOO has officially released the budget version of their latest lineup, iQOO 12. The phone comes with industry-leading specifications at a price that makes it attractive for budget consumers. It has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, up to 16GB RAM, a maximum of 1TB device storage, 6.78 inches OLED screen, a 16MP front camera, a triple camera setup on the back, a 5000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging, and much more.

Display & Appearance 

The iQOO 12 features a vibrant 6.78-inch OLED straight screen with a resolution of 2800 x 1260. It supports 144Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. The screen supports a manual maximum brightness of 1600nit, global excitation brightness of 1400nit, and local excitation brightness of 3000nits. It makes the device visible even in bright outdoors. 

The Legend/Track edition of the device is 8.1mm thick and weighs around 203.7g. It also has a Rantu edition that is 8.35mm thick and weighs around 198.5g. The device supports NFC, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and infrared remote control and runs on the OriginOS 4 system. It has an IP64 rating for added durability, a screen optical fingerprint sensor, and X aix linear motors. The device comes in 3 colors

Processor & Storage of the iQOO 12

The iQOO 12 gets its processing power from industry-leading Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It has self developed gaming chip Q1 6010mm2 stainless steel VC. The device has LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 flash memory for faster data transfer. 

It has RAM options of 12GB and 16 GB. As for device storage, it has options of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. 

Camera

The front camera of the iQOO 12 is 16MP (Samsung S5K3P9). On the rear side, it has a triple camera setup. The primary lens is 50Mp (VC Haowei OV50H, 1/1.3” and OIS). It has a secondary lens of 50MP ultra-wide angle lens (Samsung S5KJN1, 150°) and 64MP periscope telephoto lens (Omnivision OV64B, 1/1.2” and OIS). 

Battery

The battery capacity of the iQOO 12 is 5000mAh which supports 120W fast charging. It will help the phone achieve great charging times.
