iQOO 8 Release Date Set To Be August 17 | The first Samsung E5 screen

Today, this morning, iQOO mobile phone officially announced on Weibo that it will hold a new product launch conference at 19:30 on the evening of August 17, which will be the iQOO 8 release date. The post titled: “It’s on the verge of launching”.

At the recent 2021 ChinaJoy event, iQOO officially stated that the new flagship will have many highlights such as fine image quality, ultra-high-resolution, perfect screen-to-body ratio, and true colors.

This time, the iQOO 8 series will be the first Samsung E5 material LTPO screen, using a centered punch-hole design, and the resolution will reach 2K.

iQOO product manager said that iQOO 8’s screen will be the topmost limit of the industry.

In terms of core performance, iQOO 8 will be the world’s first Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus flagship platform, while supporting 12GB physical and 4GB virtual memory expansion. 

It is reported that the architecture and technology of Snapdragon 888 Plus are basically the same as those of Snapdragon 888. The biggest highlight is that the main frequency of the Cortex-X1 large core has been increased from 2.84GHz to 3GHz. So, it’s an overclocked version of the SD 888.

In addition, it is reported that iQOO 8 Pro may be equipped with 160W fast charging technology, which can be charged to 100% in only 12 minutes which will be the industry’s fastest charging phone.

It is worth mentioning that the phone may be equipped with an outsole main camera, and will also be equipped with a 5x zoom periscope telephoto lens, which supports up to 60x zoom shooting. This is also the first time iQOO has introduced an ultra-telephoto Lens.

The iQOO 8 series will run the OriginOS system based on Android 11, supporting wireless charging and infrared technology.
