iQOO Neo9 has been officially released and is the most affordable phone in the series. The device comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processing chip, up to 16GB RAM, maximum device storage of 1TB, a 6.78-inch OLED flexible screen, a 16MP front camera, dual cameras on the back, a 5160mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging and much more.

Display & Appearance

The iQOO Neo9 has a vibrant 6.78-inch OLED flexible straight screen with a resolution of 2800 x 1260. It supports a 144Hz refresh rate (8T LTPO, 1-144Ghz) for a smoother user experience and better battery timing. The screen supports a 1200Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate and 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. It has a manual maximum brightness of 600nits, global excitation brightness of 1400nits, and local excitation brightness of 3000nit.

The glass version has a thickness of 7.99mm and weighs around 196g. It also has a plain leather version that is 8.34mm and weighs 190g. The device supports NFC, three-dimensional dual speakers, screen fingerprint recognition, and IP54 rating and runs on Origin OS 4 (Android 14). It has three colors for users to choose from

  • Red and White Soul
  • Nautical Blue
  • Fighting Black

Processor & Storage

The iQOO Neo9 gets its processing power from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processing platform. It supports UFS 4.0 flash memory for faster data transfer. The device has iQOO self-developed esports chip Q1 and 6043mm² VC to keep the device cool. 

It has RAM options of 12GB and 16 GB. The device has storage options of 256GB, 512GB and 1TB.  

Cameras of the iQOO Neo9

The front camera of the iQOO Neo9 is 16MP (Samsung S5K3P9 and 1/3.1 inch sensor size). On the right side, it has dual cameras for optimal photos and videos. The primary lens is 50MP (Sony IMX920, 1/1.49 inch sensor size, and OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide angle (OmniVision OV08D10). 

Battery

The battery capacity of the iQOO Neo9 is 5160mAh which supports 120W fast charging. It can charge the device from 1% to 40% in just 9 minutes. The device supports 100W PD and 100W PPS.

Price & Availability

The iQOO Neo9 has been officially released in China and will be soon available in other parts of the world. It has various options for users to choose from

  • 12+256GB is priced at 2,299 yuan ($319)
  • 16+256GB is priced at 2,499 yuan ($347)
  • 16+512GB is priced at 2,799 yuan ($389)
  • 16GB+1TB is priced at 3,199 yuan ($444)
