iQOO Z8 Debuts as The Budget-Friendly Version 

A more budget-friendly device, iQOO Z8 has also been released to cater to a larger audience. It has a relatively lower price as compared to Z8x, but nests some very decent specifications. The device comes with a Dimensity 8200 chipset, up to 12GB RAM, a maximum of 512GB device storage capacity, a 6.64 inch LCD screen, a 5000mAh battery, and much more.

The iQOO Z8 gets its processing power from a Dimensity 8200 mobile processor. It has a 3002mm2 VC vapor chamber and a total heat dissipation area of 25026mm2 to keep the device cool even after long periods of usage. The device has LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 flash memory. It has RAM options of 8GB and 12GB, as for memory storage it has options of 256GB and 512GB. 

Display & Appearance of The iQOO Z8

The iQOO Z8 features a vibrant 6.64-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2388 x 1080. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate (seven-speed variable speed for battery optimization) and 240Hz game touch sampling rate for a smoother user experience. The device has a typical brightness value of 480nit, peak brightness of 500nit, and excitation brightness of 650nit. It has HDR10 certification and global DC dimming. 


The device has a thickness of 8.75mm and weighs around 201.5g. It has a fingerprint sensor on the side, three-dimensional dual speakers, retains the 3.5mm headphone jack, and runs on OriginOS 3 (Android 13). For added connectivity, it has NFC, WiFi, and Bluetooth. The device comes in three colors

The iQOO Z8 has a 16MP front camera ( Samsung S5K3P9 with a sensor size of 1 / 3.1”). On the rear side, it has a dual camera setup of primary lens 64MP (Howe OC64B, 1/1.2” sensor size, OIS and a new 2x crop button) and 2MP depth of field lens (GC02M1B with ⅕” sensor size). 


The iQOO Z8 has a battery size of 5000mAh that supports 120W fast charging. It can charge the phone to 50% in just 10 minutes. Moreover, it has a 30W integrated fast charging protocol, 65W PD, and supports 7.5W reverse charging. The phone keeps good battery health for about 1460 deep charge and discharges. 


Price & Availability 

The iQOO Z8 has been officially released in China and will be soon available in other parts of the world. It has various variants for users to choose from

  • 8+256GB version is first sold for 1,599 yuan ($223)
  • The 12+256GB version is priced at 1,799 yuan ($251)
  • 12+512GB version is priced at 1,999 yuan ($279)
