After being released in India, iQOO Z9 has made its way to the Chinese markets as well. The device comes with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, up to 12GB RAM, memory storage options up to 512GB, a 6.78-inches OLED straight screen, a 16MP front camera, dual cameras on the back, a 6000mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging and much more.

Processor & Storage of the iQOO Z9

The iQOO Z9 gets its processing power from the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 mobile processing platform. It has LPDDR4X memory and UFS 2.2 flash memory for faster data transfer rates. The processor is kept cool by 6043mm² canopy VC liquid cooling.

It has RAM options of 8GB and 12 GB. The device has storage options of 128GB, 256GB and 512GB.

Display & Appearance

The iQOO Z9 features a stunning 6.78-inches flexible OLED straight screen with a resolution of 2800 x 1200. It supports a 144Hz refresh rate, 2000Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, and 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming for a smoother user experience. The device is made of Huaxing C8 luminescent material, has a local peak brightness of 4500nits, and supports a 1 billion color display. 

It has a thickness of 7.98mm and weighs around 194.6g. The phone has stereo dual speakers, NFC, infrared remote control, IP64 dustproof and waterproof rating, and runs on the OriginOS 4 system. It has various attractive colors for users to choose from

Camera

The front camera of the iQOO Z9 is 16MP (Samsung S5K3P9). On the rear side, it has dual cameras for optimal photos and videos. The primary lens is 50MP (Sony LYT-600) with OIS and 2MP depth of field lens (GC02M1B)

Battery

The battery capacity of the iQOO Z9 is 6000mAh which supports 80W wired fast charging. It can charge the first 1000mAh in just 5 minutes.

Price & Availability

The iQOO Z9 has been officially released in China and will soon be available in other parts of the world. It has various variants for users to choose from

  • 8 + 128GB is priced at 1,499 yuan ($206)
  • 8 + 256GB is priced at 1,599 yuan ($220)
  • 12 + 256GB is priced at 1,799 yuan ($248)
  • 12 + 512GB is priced at 1,999 yuan ($275)
