Meizu 21 debuts with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset

Meizu 21 has made it officially to the shelves, with industry-leading specifications and a price tag to justify it. It comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, 12GB RAM, device storage options up to 512GB, a stunning 6.55-inch OLED screen, 32MP front camera, a triple camera setup on the back, 4800mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging, and much more.’

Display & Appearance

The Meizu 21 features a 6.55-inch Samsung E6 OLED flexible straight screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 1500 Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, and 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming for a smoother user experience. The screen has SGS low blue light eye protection certification and is protected by Corning Victus protective glass.  

The device has a thickness of 7.9mm and weighs around 198g. It has an aluminum alloy middle frame + AG glass, supports NFC, infrared remote control, and runs on Flyme OS 10.5. The device has a newly added Aicy AI large model, Flyme AR, and ultrasonic touch under-screen fingerprint 2.0 (works in 0.075 seconds). It comes in various color options

Processor & Storage of the Meizu 21

The Meizu 21 gets its processing power from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile chipset. It has LPDDR5x memory and UFS 4.0 flash memory for faster processing rates. The 4045mm² VC liquid cooling keeps the device cool.

It has RAM options of 8GB and 12 GB. As for device storage users can choose between 256GB and 512GB.

Camera

The front camera of the Meizu 21 is 32MP (Samsung S5KJD1). On the rear side, it has a triple camera setup for optimal results. The main camera is 200MP (Samsung S5KHP3 and OIS), 12MP ultra-wide angle lens (Samsung S5K3L6), and 5MP depth portrait lens (Samsung S5K5E9).

Battery

The battery capacity of the Meizu 21 is 4800mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. It can charge the device to 100% in just 40 minutes. 

Price & Availability

The Meizu 21 has been officially released in China and will be soon available in other parts of the world. It has various variants for users to choose from

• 12+256GB is priced at 3,699 yuan ($521)
• 12+512GB is priced at 3,999 yuan ($564)
