Nubia has officially released their latest innovation called Nubia Z50 Ultra, with 6.8 inch OLED, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and up to 1TB memory storage. There is also a Starry Sky edition, inspired by the famous painting of Vincent Van Gogh. The premium Chinese phone has some leading specifications that can make it your next smartphone. 

Display & Appearance

The Nubia Z50 Ultra packs a large 6.8inch BOE flexible OLED screen with 2480×1116 resolution. The straight full screen has a 120Hz refresh rate. For a faster response rate, it has 960Hz ten-finger touch sampling.

It has 1300nits peak brightness that makes it usable even in direct sunlight. The 10-bit colour depth and 1440Hz PWM high-frequency dimming improve the user experience. To protect your eyes, it has dual eye protection dimming. It also has an ultra-thin screen fingerprint with heart rate detection on the front. 

The phone’s screen-to-body ratio is 93.7%, with thin bezels on every side. It weighs 228g and has a thickness of 8.5mm thick. Out of the box, it is equipped with MyOS 13. The device comes in three colours.

Processor & Storage

The Nubia Z50 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, with a cooling area of ​​41442mm². The VC vapour chamber ensures the phone doesn’t get hot even after continuous usage.

To make the user experience even smoother, it has UFS4.0 flash memory. Users can choose between 8GB, 12GB and 16 GB. As for storage, users can select up to a whopping 1TB of maximum storage with other options such as 256GB and 512 GB.


The front of the Nubia Z50 Ultra has a 16MP (OmniVision OV16E1Q) single shooter. In contrast, the primary lens on the back is 64MP(Sony IMX787, OIS, 35mm), with a 64MP periscope telephoto (OmniVision OV64B with OIS), and the last of the triple camera set up in the 50MP (Samsung S5KJN1 116°)



Nubia Z50 Ultra comes with a 5000 mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging; it lets you charge the phone in minutes. It also supports charging separation.

The Nubia Z50 has been released all over China and will hit shelves on March 14. As for the global citizens, they will be getting it very soon.
