Oppo A2 has been officially released in China and seems like a good option for consumers. It comes with a Dimensity 6020 chipset, 12GB RAM, a maximum of 512GB device storage, a stunning 6.72 inch LCD screen, an 8MP front camera, dual cameras on the back, a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging, and much more.

The Oppo A2 features a 6.72-inch LCD punch-hole screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080. It supports 90Hz refresh and 180 Hz touch sampling for a super smooth user experience. It has a maximum brightness of 680 nits and Panda has two strong glass cover for durability.

The device has a thickness of 8.04mm and weighs around 193g. It has side fingerprint recognition and supports WiFi 5, USB 2.0, and dual stereo speakers. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack, diamond anti-fall structure, and supports IP54 dustproof and waterproof rating. The device comes in 3 colors for users to choose from

Processor & Storage

The Oppo A2 gets its processing power from the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 mobile chipset. It has superconductive graphite plate heat dissipation to keep the device cool even after continuous usage. The device has LPDDR4x memory and UFS 2.2 flash memory for faster data transfer rates. 

It has 12GB RAM and device storage options of 256GB and 512 GB. 

Camera

The Oppo A2 has an 8MP (Howe OV08D10) front camera. On the rear side, it has dual cameras of 50MP (Samsung S5KJN1) and a 2MP secondary lens. 

Battery of the Oppo A2

The Oppo A2 comes with a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. It can charge quickly enough and last a good amount of time.

Price & Availability 

The Oppo A2 has been officially released in China and will soon be available in other parts of the world. It has to be one of the most cost-effective 512GB phones out there in the market. 

  • 12+256GB version is priced at 1,699 yuan ($233)
  • 12+512GB version is priced at 1,799 yuan ($246)
