realme GT3 Pro To Feature 2nd Gen LTPO 2K Display & Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

• The next realme flagship will be called realme GT3 Pro
• Another selling point will be the 2nd gen LTPO flat screen with 2K+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate
• Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will power the flagship

Today, a famous leakster on Weibo posted the first leak of realme GT3 Pro (realme’s next flagship) which uses a 2K+ flat screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship processor. This is the first exposure of a 2K + flat screen + Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 smartphone.

Last time, realme took the lead in using the Samsung 2K+ AMOLED flexible flat screen in realme GT2 Pro. The phone was the first one to feature the second-generation LTPO screen.

The Advantage of 2nd Gen LTPO

Based on the second-generation LTPO material, GT2 Pro can achieve an adaptive refresh rate of 1-120Hz, giving access to the low-power consumption of LTPO. It intelligently matches the optimal refresh rate for different contents and operations, avoiding invalid screen refreshes that are responsible for additional power consumption.

It is worth mentioning that this screen of the realme GT2 Pro has obtained the DisplayMate A+ certification.

As the successor, Realme GT3 Pro will inherit the excellent display quality of the previous generation flagship, and the processor will be upgraded to the second-generation Snapdragon 8. The phone may release in late 2022 or early 2023.
