Realme GT5 debuts with 150W and 240W Fast Charging

The Realme GT5 is the phone that takes things to the next level. It has two versions of 150W and 240W fast charging. Other than that, it comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, up to 24GB of RAM options, a maximum of 1TB device storage, a front camera of 16MP, a triple camera setup on the back, and much more. 

Release Highlights

  • It has RAM options of 12GB, 16GB and 24GB. As for memory storage options, it has 256GB, 512GB and 1TB.

Processor & Storage

The Realme GT5 gets its processing power from a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processor. It has an ice core cooling system Max (total cooling area 20827mm²) to keep the device cool even after continuous usage. The device has LPDDR5X memory combined with UFS 4.0 flash memory. 

It has RAM options of 12GB, 16GB and 24GB. The device has memory options of 256GB, 512GB and 1TB. 

Display & Appearance Of The Realme GT5

The Realme GT5 comes with a 6.74-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2772 x 1240. It is made of Tianma T7+ luminescent material and has a diamond-like arrangement. The screen has a maximum brightness of 500nit, a maximum global excitation limit of 1100nit, and a local peak brightness of 1400nit. It supports a 144Hz refresh rate, 2000H instantaneous touch sampling rate, and 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming for a smoother user experience.

The device has a thickness of 8.9mm and weighs 205g. It has Dolby Atmos dual speakers, Awakening Halo System Pro and runs on Realme UI 4.0 (Android 13). It also has GT mode 5.0 and a gimmick performance panel for smoother performance. For added connectivity, it has Bluetooth 5.3, WiFi 7, tri-band GPS, and infrared remote control. The device is released in two colors

Camera

The Realme GT5 comes with a 16MP front camera (Samsung S5K3P9). On the rear side, it comes with 50MP primary lens(Sony IMX890 with OIS), 8MP (Sony IMX355) super wide angle lens, and 2MP (Geco Micro GC02M1) macro lens. 

Battery 

The battery capacity of the Realme GT5 240W charging capacity version is 4600mAh. On the other hand, the 150W charging capacity version has a 5240mAh battery capacity. The device can be charged to 100% in just around 20 minutes. Both versions are equipped with a SuperVOOC S power management chip.

The Realme GT5 has been officially released in China and will be available in other parts of the world. It has various variants, all with powerful specifications.
