ZTE Nubia Red Magic 9 Pro debuts with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Chip

The ZTE Nubia Red Magic 9 Pro is the budget version of the device but still has the greatest specs. Compared to the Pro+, it only has different storage capacities, different battery sizes, and charging times. The device has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, up to 12GB RAM, a maximum device storage option of 512GB, 6.8 inches OLED screen, a 16MP under-the-screen front camera, triple cameras on the back, 6500mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging and much more.

The ICE 13 magic cooling system (22000 rpm alloy shark fin fan + 10182mm² Ice Grade VC) keeps the device cool even after continuous usage.

The Red Magic 9 Pro features a 6.8-inch BOE Q9+ OLED true full screen with a resolution of 2480 x 1116. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 960Hz touch sampling rate, and 2000Hz instantaneous sampling rate for a smoother user experience. The screen supports global brightness up to 1000nit, excitation brightness up to 1600nit, and supports 2160Hz PWM high-frequency dimming.

Cameras of the Red Magic 9 Pro

The front camera of the Red Magic 9 Pro is 16MP (Howe OV16E1Q) which is hidden under the front screen. On the rear side, it has a triple camera setup for optimal photos and videos. It has a primary lens of 50MP (Samsung S5KGN5, OIS). The other lenses are a 50MP ultra-wide angle (Samsung S5KGN5) and a 2MP macro lens (GC02M1).

The Red Magic 9 Pro gets its power from a 6500mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. It can charge the device to 100% in just 35 minutes.
