Redmi 12R debuts with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, 4GB RAM and much more

The Redmi 12R is available at the Xiaomi Mall at a very affordable price. It has a double-sided glass body and decent specs. The device comes with a 6.79-inch LCD screen, Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, 4GB RAM, 128GB built-in memory that can be expanded with a 1TB memory card, 5000mAh battery, and much more.

The device has a thickness of 8.17mm and weighs around 199g. It retains the 3.5mm headphone jack, and side fingerprint recognition and has an IP53 dustproof and waterproof rating. The device comes in two colors

Processor & Storage of the Redmi 12R

The Redmi 12R gets its processing power from the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 mobile chipset, based on 4nm architecture. It has 2 x 2.2Ghz Cortex A78 and 6 x 1.95Ghz Cortex A55 cores. The GPU is Adreno 613 (955MHz). It has LPDDR4x memory and UFS 2.2 flash memory for faster data transfer. It has 4GB RAM and inbuilt storage of 128 GB. The device even has support for 1TB memory card expansion. 

Camera

The front camera of the Redmi 12R is 5MP. On the rear side, it has a dual camera setup of 50MP and 2MP. The 2MP might just be a makeup lens. 

Battery

The battery capacity of the Redmi 12R is 5000mAh which supports 18W fast charging. It comes with a 10W fast charging head. 

Price & Availability

The Redmi 12R has been officially released on Xiaomi Mall and will soon be available in other parts of the world. It has one variant to make the buying decision easier for consumers.
