Redmi 13C is here with MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ Chipset

Redmi has released a new device in its digital series, Redmi 13C, an entry-level 5G phone. The device comes with MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset, up to 6GB RAM, maximum device storage of 256GB, 6.74-inch LCD water drop screen, 5MP front camera, dual cameras on the back, 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging and much more.

Processor & Storage

The Redmi 13C gets its processing power from the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ mobile processing platform. It has LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2 flash memory that can provide decent performance. The device has RAM options of 4GB, 6GB and 8GB. It has memory options of 128GB and 256 GB and supports memory card expansion up to 1TB.

Display & Appearance

The Redmi 13C features a 6.74-inch LCD water drop screen with a resolution of 1600 x 720. It supports a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling for a smooth user experience. The screen brightness is 450nits and the global maximum brightness is 600nits. 

It has a thickness of 8.19mm and weighs around 195g. The device supports Bluetooth 5.3, retains a 3.5mm headphone jack, and side fingerprint recognition, and is equipped with MIUI 14 system. It has various color options for users to choose from

Cameras of the Redmi 13C

The front camera of the Redmi 13C is 5MP. On the rear side, it has dual cameras for optimal photos and videos. The primary lens is 50 MP and the 2MP secondary lens. 

Battery

The battery capacity of the Redmi 13C is 5000mAh which supports 18W fast charging. Out of the box, the device comes with a 10W charging head. 

Price & Availability

The Redmi 13C has been officially released in China and will soon be available in other parts of the world. It has various variants for users to choose from

• 4+128GB is priced at 749 yuan ($105)
• 6+128GB is priced at 849 yuan ($119)
• 8+256GB is priced at 1,049 yuan ($147)
