Today, a new Xiaomi model codename ‘M1810F6LE/T/C’ gets a 3C certification. The phone’s charger codename is MDY-09-EK (having a power rating of 10W). Interestingly, it is the same as the Redmi Note 7, which confirms that this should be a Redmi flagship, more specifically, Redmi 7 or Note 7 Pro.
Mysmartprice suggested that the new flagship has inherited the water drop display from Note 7.
If the mysterious flagship turns out to be Redmi 7, then the price of the smartphone will be around 1000 yuan. Lei Jun, CEO of Xiaomi, said that the Redmi brand is focused on cost-effectiveness and the e-commerce market. But the price/performance ratio is definitely not cheap in comparison to the previous Redmi smartphones. It’s definitely not the cheapest price/performance experience. Instead, it’s rather the best price/performance experience under that price tag.
