Redmi K70 has also made its way to the public, with some changes from the Pro model. It has a different processor, ultra wide-angle, and presence of a portrait lens. The device comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, up to 16GB RAM, a device storage option of a maximum of 1TB, a vibrant 6.67-inch screen, a 16MP front camera, triple cameras on the back, 5000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging, and much more.

The Redmi K70 has a stunning 6.67-inch CSOT C8 OLED flexible straight screen with a resolution of 3200 x 1400. It has a manual maximum brightness of 700 nits, full-screen excitation of 1200 nits, and a local peak brightness of 4000 nits. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate 480Hz touch sampling rate (instantaneous 2160Hz) and 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming for a smoother user experience.

The device has a thickness of 8.21mm and weighs around 198g. It supports NFC, infrared remote control, and has a screen optical fingerprint. The device has stereo dual speakers, and dual Hi-Res certification, and runs on the HyperOS system. It comes in various color options

Processor & Display

The Redmi K70 comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform. It has a 5000mm² annular cold pump VC liquid cooling to keep the device cool even after continuous usage. The processor has Furious Engine 3.0, LPDDR5x memory, and UFS 4.0 flash memory. 

It has RAM options of 12GB and 16 GB. As for device storage, users can choose between 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.

Cameras of the Redmi K70

The front camera of the Redmi K70 is 16MP (Howell OV16A1Q). On the rear side, it has a triple camera setup for optimal results. The primary lens is 50MP (Light Hunter 800, sensor size of 1/1.55 inches and OIS). It has an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens (OmniVision OV08D10) and a 2MP macro (StreetSite SC202PCS).

The battery capacity of the Redmi K70 is 5000mAh which supports 120W fast charging. It has self developed fast charging chip Pengpai P2 and a developed power management chip Pengpai G1.

The Redmi K70 has been officially released in China and will soon be available in other parts of the world. It is exclusively available in eggplant purple and the metal frame has been changed to a matte texture. The device comes in various variants for users to choose from
