Redmi Note 12 Turbo Officially Released | First Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 Chipset Device

Redmi has officially released their latest and greatest edition to their best-selling Note lineup. The Redmi Note 12 Turbo has been officially released as the world’s first phone with Snapdragon 7+ chipset. It has a beautiful large display of 6.67 inches, up to 16GB RAM and 1 TB storage. The phone has been released in China and will make its global debut soon.

The Redmi Note 12 Turbo has a massive 6.67-inch flexible OLED that is super crisp. It has a pixel density of 2400×1080 with a diamond-like arrangement. The display can brighten up to 1000nits making it exceptionally bright even outdoors. It has a 120 Hz refresh rate with 240Hz touch sampling to make the user experience buttery smooth. 


It has 12-bit colour depth and 1290Hz high-frequency PWM dimming to make the screen even better. It also has SGS low blue light certification, so it’s easy on your eyes. The 2.5D corning GG5 protective glass makes it quite durable. It has thin borders of 1.42mm and a chin of just 2.22 mm. The phone has a thickness of just 7.9mm and weighs 181g.

Processor & Storage

The Redmi Note 12 Turbo is powered by Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 and is the first phone powered by the chipset. It has 1×2.91Ghz Cortex X2, 3 x 2.49 GHz Cortex A-710 and 4 x 1.8 Ghz A-510. It has Adreno 725 580Mhz GPU with LPDDR5 memory for faster processing. It comes with UFS 3.1 flash memory to make the phone even smoother. The phone gets its cooling from a 3725mm² super-diffusion conduction VC vapour chamber and 14 layers of three-dimensional graphite.

As for the RAM storage, the phone has options for 8GB, 12GB and a crazier version of 16GB. The phone has a memory option of 256GB, 512GB and the most extensive version of 1TB. 


The Redmi Note 12 Turbo has a 16GB (Samsung S5K3P9)camera. On the back, it has a triple camera configuration. The primary lens is 64MP (Omni Vision OV64B OIS), 8MP ultra-wide angle (Sony IMX355) and a 2MP macro (Geco Micro GC02M1).  



The Redmi Note 12 Turbo is powered by a massive 5000mAh battery. It has the support of 67W fast charging to reduce charging times. The phone can charge 50% in just 15 minutes and takes 45 minutes to 100% charge. 

More Specifications

The phone supports NFC, infrared remote control and the legendary 3.5mm headphone jack. Moreover, the device has an IP53 dustproof and waterproof rating. Redmi Note 12 Turbo runs on MIUI 14 and supports LHDC 5.0.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro has been officially released all over China and will debut worldwide very soon.
