Redmi Note 12R Released with First Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, 6.79inches screen, 5000mAh battery and much more

The Redmi Note 12R has been officially released and is making rounds in the news due to decent specs and affordable prices. It has the first Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, up to 8GB LPDDR5 memory, 256GB memory storage, a 5000mAh battery, dual cameras on the back and much more. The Note series has always been popular among users due to its features, and we suspect the 12R will carry on the tradition.

The Redmi Note 12R has a vibrant 6.79 inches screen with a centre hole screen to nest the front camera. It has a resolution of 2460 x 1080, making it quite vibrant. Moreover, users get a large screen in this price tag, which is something we dont see very often.

The phone has a thickness of 8.17mm and weighs around 199g. It comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and three colours for users to choose from

Processor & Storage

The Redmi Note 12R gets its processing power from the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 mobile processor. It is based on the SM4450, Samsung 4nm process architecture. The 2 CPUs are 2.2 Ghz Cortex-A78 and 6 cores of 1.95 Ghz Cortex-A55. It has the GPU Adreno 613 955Mhz. 

The phone comes with 3200mHz LPDDR5 memory combined with UFS 3.1 flash memory for faster processing of data. It has RAM options of 6GB and 8 GB. As for the memory storage, it comes with options for 128GB and 256GB. The phone also supports 1TB memory card expansion. 

Camera

The Redmi Note 12R comes with a front camera of 5MP. On the rear side, it comes with a dual camera setup. The primary lens is 50 MP, and the secondary camera of 2MP.

The Redmi Note 12R has a 5000mAh battery that supports 22.5W fast charging.

The Redmi Note 12R has been officially released in China and will soon be available in other parts of the world.
