Prior to Lu Weibing’s participation in MediaTek’s Helio G90 series conference, he announced that MediaTek’s Helio G90T will be launched by Redmi worldwide. Moreover, the Helio G90T also supports a 64MP camera. It is speculated that the Redmi Note 8 series will debut the MediaTek Helio G90T SoC to the mid-end market. MediaTek Helio G90 SoC

Unfortunately, for the time being, it is uncertain whether Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro will be equipped with MediaTek Helio G90T and Samsung 64MP sensor.

According to the official introduction, Samsung’s 64MP sensor has a 1/1.7-inch exposure with a resolution of 9248×6936, 34% higher than 48MP. Samsung introduced ISOCELL Plus technology on 64MP. It uses a new material to create a pixel-to-pixel wall. Compared with the previous metal materials, the crosstalk between pixels is reduced, the light loss is reduced, and the color reproduction degree is improved.

As for the MediaTek Helio G90T, its CPU uses the most advanced A76 architecture. The GPU is a quad-core Mali-G76, and the graphics frequency is up to 800MHz. It targets Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G and the performance is better than the Snapdragon 675 equipped in Redmi Note 7 Pro.
