In addition to the K20, K20 Pro, today’s Redmi conference also brought surprises including the first ever Redmi notebook known as RedmiBook 14. Officials say this is a notebook with a thin, high-performance and discrete graphics card.
According to reports, RedmiBook 14 uses a 14-inch full HD screen, 5.75mm ultra-narrow bezel, 81.2% screen ratio, anti-glare matte screen.
Concerning the design, it has an All-metal integrated body, using sandblasting anode technology. The notebook is lightweight weighing 1.5 kg. The thickness of the chassis from the screen end is 17.95mm. Moreover, there’s a large 19mm key, full-size keyboard. Meanwhile, an HDMI interface, two USB 3.0 interface, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB 2.0 interface is used as the connectivity option.
Moving to the hardware, RedmiBook 14 uses the enhanced version of the eighth generation of Intel Core i7 processor (i7-8565U). In compared to the eighth-generation Core i7 processor, the maximum Turbo frequency has increased by 15%. Another highlight is the GeForce MX250 dedicated graphics.
In addition, RedmiBook 14 uses an efficient cooling system, which is 25% larger than the air intake area. It also supports Xiaomi Smart Unlock 2.0, ultra-low power standby, and the Xiaomi Mi Band 3 can be used to instantly woken up and unlocked with only 1.2 seconds. RedmiBook 14 also offers 10 hours of long battery life, professional DTS sound effects, pre-installed genuine Office home, and student version.
