Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro Series Debuts | A New Competitor in the Market

Another device launched at the Galaxy Unpacked Event is the Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro. It is the third generation of professional high-end laptops by the company. There will be 3 variants of the series and two screen sizes 14 inches and 16, slightly bigger than previous generations. The devices are available for pre-booking and will be reaching the users starting from 17 Feb 2022.

Release Highlights:

• Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro, Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360, and Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Ultra are the three variants.
• There are two sizes available, 14 inches and 16 inches.
• Both variants have 48Hz – 120Hz refresh rates.
• Users can choose between intel i5? or i7 processor.
• There are three RAM options for users 8GB/16GB/32 GB.

Design & Appearance

The keyboard layout of the 14-inch variant of the Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro is tenkeyless. Whereas, the larger 16-inch version has a full-sized keyboard. Both the keyboards are backlit. The trackpad is large and optimal for the overall size of the laptops. 

The laptop comes with a quad-speaker setup that AKG tunes for optimal audio performance. For optimal user experience, it has two Thunderbolt 4, an HDMI 1.4 port, a USB 3.2 Type-A port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack۔ 

The Galaxy Book 3 Pro has two colors:

• Beige
• Graphite

Screen & Display

Being a Samsung device, it comes with one of the best displays in any laptop. Both the variants of Galaxy Book 3 Pro have Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. The refresh rate varies from 48Hz to 120Hz, providing efficient battery life. It can go as bright as 400 nits and has a resolution of 2880 x 1800. According to Samsung, these displays have the ability to cover 120% of the DCI-P3 color volume.

Processor & Storage

The laptops are powered by the mighty Intel Core i5/i7 processors. With the Intel Iris Xe GPU for faster renderings. 

As for the RAM, users can choose between 8GB/16GB and 32GB LPDDR5. Moreover, the Galaxy Book 3 Pro will have 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD.

Battery

The smaller 14-inch variant of the Galaxy Book 3 Pro has a 63Wh battery. Whereas, the 16-inch will get its power from a 76Wh batter. Both laptops will be charged with the 65W USB C PD charger with the thunderbolt 4 port.

Currently, the devices are available for pre-booking. The deliveries will start by 17th February 2023.
