Snapdragon 875 SoC Processor

Snapdragon 875 AnTuTu Score Might Exceed 880,000 Points – Here’s Why!

Though Snapdragon 865+ has just released and now Qualcomm has shifted its focus on the next year’s flagship SoC which will be Snapdragon 875. It will be one of the first SoCs based on the Samsung’s 5nm EUV process. Rumors have it that the Snapdragon 875 AnTuTu score might cross 880,000 points on AnTuTu v8 and the X1 super core is used.

In terms of performance, the CPU will be improved by 16%, and the GPU part will be upgraded by 20% compared to Snapdragon 865.

Here’s the reason behind Snapdragon 875 AnTuTu score to be this much high

First of all, considering the expected Snapdragon 875 specs, we might be seeing the new Cortex-X1 high-performance CPU that ARM launched in May. Not only does the L2/L3 cache capacity has been upgraded exponentially, but also in terms of performance, it will be 30% higher than the Cortex A77.

Moreover, we will be seeing a tri-cluster (1+3+4) octa-core design. There would be 1 x Cortex X1 super core, 3 x Cortex A77 or A78 mid-performance cores, and 4 x A55 or A56 power-efficient cores. As for the GPU, SD 875 will be embedded with Adreno 660 GPU, Adreno 665 VPU and Adreno 1095 DPU, with SPU250 security processing unit and Spectra 580 image-processing engine, integrated 5nm process X60 baseband chip, fully compatible with 3G/4G /5G network and support mm-wave and frequency bands below 6 GHz.

Snapdragon 875 internal code name is ‘SM8350‘.

Which Snapdragon 875 Phone Will Come First?

Though there’s no official confirmation, however, we expect Xiaomi’s smartphone to feature SD 875 first. It will probably be the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 featuring SD 875 releasing in the Chinese Double 12 festival (Dec 12). If not, then it’s for sure that the yearly flagship ‘Mi 11’ will feature it next year. Mi MIX 4 might have a 120Hz display, 150MP camera, and a front under-screen 1st gen camera.
