Vivo Pad Trademark Gets Registered | Vivo’s First Tablet Coming

It looks like Vivo will also be competing with other tablet manufacturers like Huawei and Xiaomi as it enters the tablet market for the first time. Today, a Vivo device with the trademark ‘Vivo Pad’ got registered at the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) website.

However, the European Union Intellectual Property Office did not disclose the specifications of the Vivo tablet. Previously, it has been reported that Vivo will launch new tablet products in the second half of the year. The specific naming is temporarily unknown.

It is worth mentioning that realme is also planning to release a tablet by the name ‘realme Pad’. 

All these releases are motivated by the recent growth in the market demand for tablets. Taking 2020 as an example, according to information released by IDC, the global tablet computer market grew 19.5% year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2020, with shipments of 52.2 million units, reaching the highest level since 49.9 million units in the fourth quarter of 2017.

Analysts said that because home office and online education have prompted unprecedented demand in consumers and education, which has promoted the recovery of the global tablet computer market.
